Pen Llŷn Wildlife Safari
One of the exciting projects led by Robert Parkinson from the National Trust is the wildlife safaris. The safaris highlight the identification of five key species and circular walks around the Ecoamgueddfa sites in Pen Llŷn.
It aims to encourage people to head out into the great outdoors in search of the species that can be found around the sites. What better way to do this than to work with local schools, inspiring children who then persuade their parents to venture out?
Working with a local artist, children had the opportunity to go on nature walks, study the species at school and take part in art workshops in the classroom and outside to create these beautiful maps. Their work and that of the children is worth seeing.
